Jordan Morris is an author and illustrator of books for kids, including her author/illustrator debut, BALLy the Amazing Wonderball (Kids Can Press). She has collaborated with author/illustrator, Charlie Mylie, on Out on a Limb (Abrams), Moontime Cats: Merry Mittens (Candlewick), its 2026 follow-up Mysterious Mittens, and the forthcoming series, Princess Pony Says Nay (Stone Fruit Studio, 2026).
She is currently completing her second author-illustrated book, Leona Alone (Neal Porter Books, 2027).
Jordan grew up in Texas writing, drawing, making messes, and frequently forgetting her backpack. She credits many of her story ideas to her childhood journals and the casually brilliant musings of her two young daughters.
Before turning to picture books, Jordan spent eight years working with the creative team behind The Rabbit hOle, a one-of-a-kind immersive museum dedicated to children’s literature.
She now lives with her family in an old green house in Kansas City, Missouri.
